Mohawk Freedom!!!

Recently a good friend of mine braided my hair into a mohawk. It was styled slightly different than the picture to the left. Unfortunely I didn't take any pictures of it. My sister was inspired by the hair style and decided to try the look. This is the end result, which she and I both really like. Some refer to this look as the fro-hawk since the middle part is reminiscence of an afro. When wearing a hairstyle like this out people stare and comment at will. Some nice and encouraging, others snide with the intent to hurt. Beforehand I expressed to my sister that such things would occur and asked if she was prepared. Her response : "I don't really care what anyone else thinks about it, I really like it and that's what matters." I was proud of her response and felt relived that she had this outlook on the situation because I knew she would need it. If a group of young boys point and laugh or people stare with wonder or curiosity, my sister's head is head high and she's happy. And that's what really matters.

This is a 1000 piece Disney Photomosaic puzzle that I have given up on time and again. Each piece has atleast five tiny pictures on it. If not for color grouping I dont know if I would have ever completed it. Perseverance paid off.
